angels and airwaves was created this year by tom delonge.
boxcar racer was formed a few years ago with travis barker and tom delonge.
travis also is in the transplants with tim armstrong of rancid

Tom Dolonge set up the band ANGELS AND AIRWAVES with Atom Willard(the offspring), David Kennedy (boxcarracer) and Ryan Sinn (the descendants). Their album "we dont need to whisper" is out in stores and it is an absolutey epic album. Mark Hoppus and Travis barker also set up a band called PLUS 44 or +44 The other members of this band keep changing so it is hard 2 keep track. Their album is expected 2 be released later this year

Tom is in Angels & Airwaves, their debut album We Don't Need To Whisper was released a few weeks back, not bad, but not great. Tom and Travis were in a band back in 01 called Box Car Racer. Now Mark and Travis are in a band called Plus 44, they have one leaked song on the internet called No It Isn't, you can find it on their website(or at least you could not sure anymore) or on any other major download site.
