I have been wearing pantyhose since I was 7 years old, I have been thinking of going into public with them on. I will be wearing pants and deck shoes, will people notice my ankles? What shoul I do?

If thats what uyou like then I would say go for it. You have the right to wear any thing you want. Don't worrie what others have to say. as long as your happy. That's what counts.

Wear a skin tone color of hose and no one will really notice unless they're looking for it. Even if people notice, which they probably won't, I doubt anything will be said about it. It's not that big of a deal. Who cares what you're wearing as long as you like it. I wear suntan pantyhose with shorts all they time. I know that they can be seen by everyone if they happen to look at my legs. Out of all the years I've been wearing hose and shorts out in public, I've been whistled at twice and one lady made a remark to her husband that "She had never seen that before". That's about all of the reactions I have ever gotten. I do get a lot of smiles and I just smile back.

Did you mean you're going out *without* pantyhose?
If you're self-conscious about your ankles, there's some nice socks out there that are made of material exactly like hosiery or pretty similar to it. Some slip down, though, so you might want to opt for ones made specially with non-slippage elastic around the top.
I wear dress pants to work, and these types of socks rounds out my attire nicely.
If that doesn't work, you might should stick with hosiery.

Do anything that suits to your heart no the others'
Besides wearing pantyhose is sexy for 1/3 of the men.

If this is what you want to do then you do it. Be ready for people to notice. I shouldn't matter what others think but if you want a good response...Tell the curious others that you have to wear them for medical reasons. Like circulation problems or something.
Be yourself and do what you feel good doing.

Yes be brave and wear them in public... be even braver and wear a pair of panties with the pantyhose.

no!! it's summer time, don't wear them now.
wear them in the winter time and make sure either they match your pants or your skin as closely as possible.
and no sheer materials! thin, not cottony.
even better, go to target and get some trouser socks. they're perfect for this sort of thing.
(and never wear hose with open-toed shoes.)

who gives a crap if your wearing pantyhose or not. if they are sitting there glaring at ur ankles, they are a freak anyhow. who cares. if you actually LIKE to wear them, wear them, heck wear them with shorts and no shoes if it makes u happy. but i hate to wear hose. HEY you could wear them with flip flops so they make a camel toe thingy.
