The coelacanth,thought to be extinct for 60 million years, was 'rediscovered' in1938.Given the megalodons size I don't think it could stay hidden as long unless it evolved into a very deep ocean dweller like the giant squid,but even they will wash up on a beach once in awhile.

where is the proof to say that it doesn't. Something like 80% of the world's oceans are still unexplored with no idea of what is out there. Why the heck does the government waste our money on space exploration when we still don't know all the secrets of our own wonderful G-d created earth

Because we know more about the moon than we do about the depths of our oceans. Of course there are living beings that we have not yet discovered. Maybe Meg is down there right now waiting.

Becasue there are depths of the ocean we have yet to plumb. And until they found one, they thought the giant squid was extinct or a myth too.

well the same reason they think the earth is flat, they just love to argue, it dosent matter what about just as long as its an argument
