I'm currently using the Sony Bean MP3 Player/ walkman & I never leave anywhere without it, it's my American Express, never leave home without it, lol.
It stores over 500 songs and comes with an FM Radio Tuner. Has 4 colors to pick from looks cute and it's portable.
The price is definitely not as steep as the IPOD.

I'd go with the iPod nano -- I've had other MP3 players, but for some reason, the iPod is the only one I've ever used regularly. It's so easy to use.

I think you should look into getting a Creative Zen MicroPhoto 4gb, its just as good as the Samsung, and its probaly a bit cheaper depending on where you buy it from. Check it out at www.creative.com

iPOD IS DEFINITELY NEVER THE BEST MP3 PLAYA OUT THERE
you only like it because the design and the popularity , i understand
check out Zen Micro Vision:M or other ZEN stuff , creative stuff , SanDisk stuff and probably iRiver. your gonna spend hundreds of bucks on this new toy so think well , research (google) before you buy
