I encountered several webpages which sked to send yahoo/hotmail/aol ID and passsword. They obviously have different intentions. But I think that 't is quite possible to get password of any mailbox.

Am I wrong? Can you give sufficient reasons to state the opposite?

Just remember this when you are tempted to use one of these passwords. If you use your own computer, you can be tracked wherever you go on the Internet. Everything we do on the net creates "footprints" or "paw prints" if you're a dog. :) Just know that this is an illegal practice and doing it might have the whole Homeland Security to bear on you. You don't want that. And for what? To read someone's email? It is not worth it.

No you are not wrong. Passwords can be cracked by using fairly simple techniques and tools (software) by someone who has a very basic amount of networking knowledge and knows what he is doing. This is especially true when you login using the normal HTTP protocol where passwords are sent as clear text. HTTPS is considered more secure but no one knows for how long.

Here's one! It's against the law and if caught you will go to prison. You will also be denied the use of computers for the rest of your life. This includes for your work

So if you think it's worth it, then go ahead.
