one of the easiest (and most fun) ways to lose weight is by setting goals for your self... goals you know you can acheive, and goals that are NOT based on weight loss, but on fitness level.
for example... I'm 5" and normally between 110 and 115... while dating my last boyfriend I got up to 145. To lose the weight, I made two over all goals, one weight based and one fitness based. I wanted to lose 20 lbs and be able to run 2 miles (something I've never done before in my life.) I broke those goals up into smaller measurements, then rewarded myself with something each time I reached a goal. Like, I set a goal of being able to walk a mile in 15 minutes, and when I reached it, I bought myself a subscription to my favorite magazine. Then I walked the mile in 13 minutes and rewarded myself with a mani/pedi. The rewards got bigger and bigger as my goals got harder and harder. In the end, I reached both of my goals, and treated myself to a shopping spree (cause none of my old clothes fit!!)
try it.. it'll work.

Personally I prefer 'Grazing' - this is when you eat something every thirty or so minutes which will speed up your metabolism and burn more calories.
Next you don't want to mix carbs with protiens - no meat and bread together - but rather meat and veges instead (as an example). The book 'Fit for Life' can explain in more detail.
Increase your exercise even if you only dance for an hour a day or walk as fast as you can for as long as you can but do something every day and be patient and consistent. Remember we (me too) didn't get heavy overnight so don't expect to get thin overnight either.
Good luck '>)

Switch your diet to all natural foods. Fruits and veggies are best, you can eat a ton and lose weight. Eat whole grains instead of white bread and don't eat anything that contains high fructose corn syrup. (Good luck with that one ) Also try looking into circuit workouts...they're 30 a day and work wonderings! There's a place called curves that is really good also gyms should have like circuit trainging classes.

Walking or swimming are good exercises. No matter how busy you are, you need to eat healthy and exercise. Your health is very important. I just joined Curves a month ago, and I can already tell the difference. It is a good program for us 'shy' women who don't feel comfortable in a regular gym, plus the program is 30 minutes long which is great for me. And don't forget to drink lots of water! Good luck!

Walking works wonders! My friend has lost about 40 pounds by changing her diet, drinking more water, and walking in the morning before she gets ready or at night instead of watching TV. Good luck!
