I'm a college student so I don't pay hardly anything in taxes anyway. But I did get $187 back. My brother got a little more than $300 back. We are now the proud owners of an XBOX360.
That's the idea behind the tax cuts. Give people back the money they have earned. Let them spend the money or save it as they see fit. Put the money into circulation to build wealth in our economy. Pretty simple concept. Works very nicely.

I've probably bought some things I couldn't afford otherwise. It's not so much about spending more money, it's the principle behind why it's necessary to raise my taxes. I just do not belive I have to subsidize a lazy welfare recipient's lavish lifestyle. A good question would be: How many liberals sent back the either $600 or $800 check we all received a few years back, on the principle that it should be used for something more worthwhile...I highly doubt you'd get many responses, even though liberals claim to care about other people.

The tax cuts that added up to enough money to count went to the only people that support the President right now the people that only care about money like the rich snobs in the movie titanic.

At the time I was without a job...I received $300.00. It really helped me. I bought gas, groceries, and had money left over.
If you haven't been there, you will not understand how much that money helped me. Because of it, I had gas to continue looking for that job......

Well, it has benefited us tremendously, since we
are not rich. We've had more of our own money
to spend instead of the government "blowing" it
on some stupid program of studying pig's sex
life or something like that. However, I don't have
to tell you where I spent the money, do I? It's
sort of a private matter (where a person spends
their money). You are rude to even ask.

You mean that tax cut from a few years ago? I think I got $50 in the deal, and used it for groceries (I'm more of a moderate though politically, but your question had me curious)
