Is all the myths about fast food restaurants (like the meat being old and spoiled, employees spitting in the food/unsanitary conditions, the meat not really being meat) true?

I managed a Wendy's way back when.
No, it is not true.
Yes, there are a few bad apples.
But there are a lot of very strict quality requirements by both the restaurant industry and the government.
For starters, every manager had to take a course and test on food safety by the state of California. and if we didn't pass it, then we didn't work. Straight up!
In addition...
We did temp checks three times a day, making sure everything was out of the temp. danger zone. (40-140 when bacteria is most active).
We held classes for our crews on proper sanitize, safety, food hazards, how to wash your hands, yadda, yadda, yadda. Every crew member had to fill out and be tested on a food safety pamphlet .
We had constant and surprise inspections by not only the management team, but also Wendy's cooperation, and Sparkle, and the Coke company.
We knew that the myths were out there, and it was our job to prove ever single one wrong.

I think we did a pretty good job at it too.

Wendy's uses the hamburgers in the chili. I didn't think it was such a big deal but there was a chick who I worked with that did. They put the hamburgers that didn't make it into a sandwich into a container and later it's cut up and thrown in the chili mix.
I don't know about spitting or anything horribly unsanitary

That is not true. There might be a few bad apples out there, but any kind of food business has to have cleanliness, or else they would be shut down by the health department. They are very picky! Can't say the 10 second rule is not true though!

I worked at a burger place a long time ago, and there are plenty of safety rules in place, but that doesn't stop some of the jokers from being slack with food safety (hence why I DON'T eat fast food anymore).

When I was a teen I worked at Burger King and we never did any of that stuff to the food, back then you made the burgers beforehand but they were only allowed to sit for 8 minutes and if they weren't bought they would get thrown out.

Whites have significantly better I.Q`s ..... and are significantly better appropriate knowledgeable than Blacks , Mexicans , and many Asians !! in assessment to non-Whites , a job at any a form of Cockroach-infested establishments is largely a non everlasting stepping stone at the same time as in college , while with non-Whites , those flea-bag Greasy Spoons are a lifelong occupation !! It`s each non-Whites dream to have a area time interest at McDonald`s , Wendys, Taco Bell, etc. they offer idea to it a "career" they are frequently happy with !!

Thats just ridiculous. I am sure the fast food chains are routinely inspected by the county health department.
Wendys has great burgers. If they are spoiled, it sure puts a great taste in their burgers.

I worked at Arby's. I dropped a whole fully-cooked beef on the floor, so I threw it away. I got yelled at the next day because I should have" washed it off and thrown it back in the oven for a few because it would've been just fine." GROSS!

I woked at Wendy's a long time ago, but I never noticedanything out of the ordinary going on. But then, our manager was - shall we say - a hard case!!!
