He died on April 28, 1945, near the village of Dongo (Lake Como). Mussolini and his mistress Claretta Petacci were executed by the Italian communist partisans.
The date of death should not be confused with their date of capture. April 27, 1945.

Mussolini foundedb the fascist party in 1921.
The fascist party grew up in Italy resorting to terror & violence.
In 1922 he lead a march to Rome.
Late he became the PM of Italy.
Then he turned Italy into a despotic state.
Benitto Mussolini was born in 1883 july 29 at Pridapia inRomogna district in Italy.
He married Rachel Gidy in 1909 at the age of 26.
Later in 1945 italy was against to Mussolini.
IN 1945 APRIL 28 MUSSOLINI & his disciples were hanged at a petrol station in Piyasaloratto in Milan.

you are talking about world war 2 right? well i think he was captured and sentenced to death. then his body was left hanging in a town square and was left there for people to throw rocks and other stuff at. i think this occured in 1965.
