I cant access this korean website. It says "page cannot be displayed.....DNS error." I could access it a couple of days ago but when I use anotehr computer, i could go on that site as well. Is the reason because I changed some language thing that made korean characters/sites "invalid" or something? I don't know how to fix either of the things. Thanks a lot.

DNS means Domain Name Server. It resolves the "www" address into an IP address to contact that server. My best guess is that your internet service provider does not have that Korean web address.

You can try this, on the working computer. When you attempt to go to your Korean web site, on the bottom left corner of your web page should be something like, "Connecting to" and an IP address. Copy down the IP address and then type it in the address space on your web browser. That should work.

I hope this helps.

DNS error means that you could not contact the website (ie the web server is offline). You say you could contact the site on another computer, but you did not specify one important fact. When you contacted the site, on the other computer, was it at the same time or did you go to another computer hours/days later? Is this other computer on the same network? If it is on the same network, then both systems should be using the same DNS servers to resolve the IP# (ie your ISP's dns servers). So it would be highly unlikely that one computer could pull it up and another could (on same network).

You should also be able to take the IP# that you got from nslookup and type this in command window (dos prompt): ping 123.456.78.9 (replace that IP# with the correct one) or ping domainname.com. Try on both machines. See what you get.

Lastly, on a command prompt, try this on the machine that does not work: tracert domainname.com

You should see a list of all the computers (hops) that are between you and the web site. If you can't get through, it will show you where the hang up is (the computer that is preventing you from succesfully reaching the website).

All these steps won't fix the problem in hand, but will tell you whats going on.

i have spoke of that too. i do not understand if yahoo is deliberately providing any suggestions, besides the indisputable fact that it would not inevitably choose this to ensue. Any programmer ought to write an software to 'scrape' web content, extracting suggestions. The cleverer this system, the more desirable precise the scrape. for this reason an internet site about widgets ought to apply one of those software to scrape different widget information superhighway sites, extracting the suggestions in a usable kind and reformatting it for his or her own website. It is sensible that Y!A will be a target for this; that's a huge website with a intense content fabric aspect, all interior of an similar format. meaning the scraper has to address purely this one format, and would incredibly employ key-word searches. at the same time as this would nicely be a strategies from legal, it is also problematical to provide up. it would mean jumping on each website that does this. that is type of like unsolicited mail - it would in all likelihood take some intense-profile prosecutions and great consequences to discourage people from doing it. Even then they are going to in all likelihood only use servers in 'dodgy' international locations to get round that. i imagine that is a few thing we are going to easily could get used to. We should not be putting any smooth suggestions on Y!A besides, and make effective your video reveal call would not develop into attentive to the real you.
