During a fight, my husband (from whom I'm separated) said he doesn't know if our son is really his. It's no big deal to me b/c I know the truth & I also know he's just saying to get under my skin. But still my mother and stepmom flipped out when I told them- saying that that's one of the most horrible things a man could say. What do you guys think? Is this the worst? What others are up there?

Basically, he just called you a potential adulteress. Somehow, you seem pretty tough; I doubt anything he could say is going to make you cry at this point.
Here are some others he might try...
1. You have no sense of humor
2. You are stupid.
3. You are lazy.
4. I'm afraid our son will grow up like you.
5. You will always be the same.
6. You are a tiresome bit**.
7. Despite that you said you wouldn't, you are acting just like your mother.

The most entirely worst thing I have ever said to a woman was that I called her a bleeding c***t. On top of that though, horrible things invoking your family members are just as bad...like during sex, and a man says to you, "this is how your (insert family member) likes it."

That one is really horrible, the worst i think, there are many other horrible things that a man can say and can do, like 'I feel so shamed for you' just because you did't get well-dressed at a party. or, 'I have no mood for taking you out for dinner as you go away after dinner.'just because he wants sex only.

Cheating on her with her best friend. That's the most insulting thing a guy can do. Words are no big deal...there is nothing they could say besides....dig up your grandmother and skull bang her? I think I threw that one out there before.

It is one of the worst. How dare him tell you something like that.He is denying his son and denying your loyalty when you two were together. Cursing you out would be another bad thing but he did that to you in a way. Thank your blessings that he is your ex. Good luck!

thats the difference betwen knowing and believing, a woman knows the child is hers, the man believes its his. and as far as other things go, its pretty bad to tell your wife that he should have stayed with another woman cos ur arent any good in bed and most women dont like being called a whore

Wow......I read the other answers.
You said insult or offend.....and that I found hard to answer......because who cares really.
But my heart would be hurt if he said "Because I just don't love you anymore". That would make me break down.....and I don't do that often.
