Intelliegence is knowing what to do, wisdom is knowing how to do it!

Wisdom is the gift of being able to connect with one's heart or spirituality to know the correct answer or direction/path to take that feels right for you. Wisdom necessitates that we are connected closely with the universe and our resultant actions are good for ourselves and mankind. Intelligence is the mental abilities that we were born with to use our thoughts and accumulated knowledge as we wish to use them. The choice or direction that we use our intelligence determines whether we attain or display any wisdom at all. Wisdom and intelligence are not mutual exclusive, but unfortunately are too often. They can and do co-exist.

intelligence is something you can get from books and research and the like, but Wisdom is granted by life, time and experience. Some people say Wisdom only comes with age, but I beg to differ. We have all heard it said "He/She is wise beyond His/Her years", so Wisdom really isnt based solely on age.

Hope this helps.

Intelligence is the ability to understand intellectual concepts. Wisdom in the knowledge of how to apply that understanding in practical ways. The Bible says that the "fear of God is the beginning of wisdom". That's a very profound statement because it tells us that the height of wisdom is to apply the divine truths that God has graciously bestowed upon mankind instead of trusting in our finite and temporal understanding of what constitutes wise decision making.

Wisdom is usually knowledge gathered with time. Intelligence is more of a natural ability to learn and retain information.

When we think of someone that's wise, we think of a deep thinker. Someone that can think beyond the normal solutions to a problem (ie King Solomn and the women and the baby).

When we think intelligent we think of someone that is smart and very knowledgeable about alot of things.

Alot of intelligent people also have wisdom
But you can be wise and not be considered intelligent - like a mentally handicapped adult that can say some very profound things from time to time but in the general way of things has more of a child like understanding of things.

Wisdom refers to the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment, whereas intelligence refers to one's ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills.

An intelligent person is not necessarily wise, but a wise person is almost assuredly intelligent.
