It could be any of 1000 problems. start by testing each aspect of your wanting to play that movie on that computer. take out one aspect of the test, replace it with an option that you know works, and test to see the effect. if it doesn't work, return that aspect to it's original option (the way you want it to work), and isolate something else. for example, leave everything as is, and try playing a flash movie that you have seen work in the past. If it works, then there is a problem with the flash movie you are trying to watch. if not, there may still be a problem with that movie, but also a problem with something else, or any combination of the coordinating hardware and software you are using to achieve what you want.
