You keep asking questions about people or places where you don't say who or where you are talking about.
If you mean GWB, I don't know why he thinks he's qualified to make decisions for other people. I guess maybe he felt like it was in his family blood.
If you mean you, I don't know either. Maybe you could tell us. Why are you better qualified than a woman to decide what she should do with her body and fetus? Why are you better qualified than a gay couple to decide whether they should marry? Why, why, why.

Well I love the USA too but mainly because its the most democratic Even with all its shortcomings. I just don't follow your statement. Generally usually if someone is uninformed but believes themselves to be the best qualified to make decision its because they have an inflated ego.

Because politics is more than knowledge, it is broken down to a popularity contest most times. Popularity, unfortunately takes far less brains then the correct leader.
