has anybody got any ideas how i could make the outside of my school beter so more types of animals could live there, examples are: trees and flowers

All the above and also try to include a small pond if you can. The animals you'll have gathering around will have some fresh water to drink. :) Hey, if you plant a butterfly bush (they are beautiful and need no care) you'll see lots and lots of beautiful butterflies all summer long as well! I have four in my yard! Oh yeah, be careful if you have too many animals....the dog will eat the cat, the cat will eat the mouse, etc. etc

You could do some research on creating a butterfly habitat using plants. This would be educational and it encorporates plants. The plants you would use would depend on what zone you are in. Try to go to somewhere like michiganbulb.com and search for plants in your zone. You can search the web on butterfly gardens to find what plants attract butterflys. Just be careful. Many of the same plants attract bees too. Avoid plants like bee balm.
