I really want to work in Health Care. I hope to get my bachelor's degree in Policy Analysis and Management with course concentration in health, then go on to work in health care management. Or maybe i'll go into health policy. But I'm sure that I want to get an MBA in health care too. So if anyone has any advice or stories to share, please do so!

I worked at Scripps Hospital in San Diego for many years in the accounting department. I can assure you that health care is the place to be for the future. All economic projections point to health care industry as the best, most stable place to be.

You need to visit several facilities and talk to their career development people. They are eager to visit with you and give you advise on what path would be best for you.

RUN!! RUN!! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT. IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT "FIELD" OF HEALTHCARE YOU GO INTO....YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE A BOSS AND THEY WANT YOU TO DO UNETHICAL THINGS TO MAKE THEM MORE MONEY. GO IN IT IF YOU WANT BUT YOU WILL NOT MAKE IT IF YOU HAVE A HEART.
