Learn to write XHTML code, administer a database, some CGI (server-side code) and a scripting language. Alternatives include picking up some of the turn-key forum software available, but you will still need to know a little HTML. You could also hire a coder and a data-base guy but this would take alot of resources.

HTML. There are other software programs like Macromedia which help create a website with less dificulty, but all you really need to know is how to type HTML code. That is completely free but takes a long time to master so if I were you I would just buy a Macromedia program like Dreamweaver.

-Do you mean, how do you create a Web Page on one of those sites? That is really easy, most websites like myspace, blackplanet, and friendster guide you through the process and then before you know it you have your very own profile, but that is called a Web Page and not a Website.
