I want my entire funeral to be orchestrated by Army Bugle calls. Between these there will be hymns like Amazing Grace, Rock of Ages, and about 4 or 5 other favorites of mine that will play in the background.

Once everyone has seen me off (filed by my casket or urn) and are assembled in their seats again, I want a TRADITIONAL military band version of my favorite piece of music "The Star Spangled Banner" to be played, followed by my second favorite piece "Taps" played softly by a lone bugle (preferably live) at a distance while a strong baritone voice tenderly voices the words to the same song.

Amazing Grace!
My dad told me that was his dad's favorite song and at his dad's funeral they played it and his mom didn't start crying until they started playing that song. he also said he wanted that song to play at his funeral, so I do too.

The Old Rugged Cross
It is very appropriate for one and it is my favorite religious song. Do you know that song? If not look up the lyrics--the chorus says it all.

Amazing Grace on bagpipes or sung by someone like Whitney Houston before the crack. Also "Ain't no sunshine when she's gone" as sung by Soul for Real, only with "he's" instead of "she's."

wait and bleed by Slipknot it goes like...
Slipknot - Wait and Bleed Lyrics

I've felt the hate rise up in me...
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves...
I wander out where you can't see...
Inside my shell, I wait and bleed...

I've felt the hate rise up in me...
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves...
I wander out where you can't see...
Inside my shell, I wait and bleed...

Goodbye!

I wipe it off on tile, the light is brighter this time
Everything is 3D blasphemy
My eyes are red and gold, the hair is standing straight up
This is not the way I pictured me
I can't control my shakes
How the hell did I get here?
Something about this, so very wrong...

I have to laugh out loud, I wish I didn't like this
Is it a dream or a memory?

I've felt the hate rise up in me...
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves...
I wander out where you can't see...
Inside my shell, I wait and bleed...
