Macs cost a lot more than what I am ready or willing to pay, but I mean, i can save up for quality. i know how to use both a pc and a mac, but PC's are way cheaper. What is so much better about a mac is the basic question.

Macs now have Intel processors. (Intel dual core)

My Mac has a 7-button mouse.

My Mac can run Windows XP and Half-Life 2. (An Apple program called Boot Camp lets you run both Windows XP and Mac OS X. So does a program called Parallels)

My Mac was the same price as a similarly-equipped Dell laptop, and has a better video card and is faster. (Radeon X1600!)

My Mac has a brighter display, looks nicer, and has better battery life than a PC laptop.

The misconceptions about Macs are numerous. The only reason to really stick with a PC anymore is because a majority of other people are on it. But that is changing, and who wants to be a vanilla follower anyway? :)

Check out these commercials. Haha:

All you PC people are crazy! Mac is the future of computing. No viruses, no locking up, no feezing. The only program I have ever had problems with on my Mac is Microsoft Word! - go figure! Mac's are more $$ but definetly worth it! Download free songs with no worries of viruses! Mac's don't make the annoying sounds PCs do and they last MUCH longer - I would pay 3x's more to get a mac than get a PC

Supposedly MACs are less prone to viruses and such but PCs have a better processor by far! So if I were you I would just get good virus protection , and other protective software and buy a PC.
