I've never seen a letter signed that way. Just Sincerely or Yours Truly.

I compose and write letters all the time with my job and my choice is that business letters should be signed with 'yours sincerely' and personal letters 'yours truly'. Some people even put 'regards'. Up to you. Poppet

Yes, that would be incorrect usage no matter what format of letter you're writing. You should simply use "Sincerely,".
