Quills, while a bit idealisitic in portraying the Sade as a freedom of speech fighter (and not much else) is quite an enjoyable film. It's technical and aristic direction are some of the best of the new millenium.

It was an awesome movie. I know it is based on The Marquis De Sade but wonder how much of the rest of the characters are real, if any. Have only seen it once and missed the beginning. Would like to see again.

It had its good moments and its bad moments... but when it boils down to the finale thought, i would watch it again! So i guess it could class as a good movie in my books!

yeah, De Sade is the king of Kinky and the story line is excellent
