Wishing upon a star depends on what one believes in. Everyone has a right to wish and first off, it doesnt matter if u wish upon a star for that..Make a true wish with your whole heart into it and the wish will come true and it solely depends on who you are to yourself and the more you differentiate yourself from others, thats when you feel like it makes a difference of who you are when you're wishing upon a star(not just wishing, but in everything).....So, wish wholeheartedly and your wish will come true. It doesnt matter who you are, what you do and even where you are; all that matters is your true wish......

We never truly wish up on a star, since what we're looking at is where the star was at the time the light started traveling to us, many light years ago. So. "When you wish upon empty space where there once was a star...makes no difference who you are!"

A wish is a wish, it doesn't matter who makes the wish. The star is a metaphoric symbol of equality, everyone can look at the same star, no one owns the star so to speak.

Were you referring to the lyrics of the song from Disney?

WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR

Writer: Leigh Harline
Lyrics: Ned Washington

When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires will come to you

If your heart is in your dreams, no request is too extreme
When you wish upon a star as dreamers do

(Fate is kind, she brings to those who love
The sweet fulfillment of their secret longing)

Like a bolt out of the blue, fate steps in and sees you thru
When you wish upon a star, your dreams come true

The problem is the same as with "First star I see tonight..." Most people wish on a bright or first object they see at dusk. Those are mostly planets. Wait a bit and find a true star. So Yes..the more knowledgeable of Astronomy, the better the chances of wishing on a correct object *S*

No, it doesn't make a difference on who you are, but which star on which you choose to wish upon. That is the difference........lol

Heck, YEAH.
Here is a bit of wisdom from a song in a movie ("Happy Talk" from Rodgers & Hammerstein's "South Pacific".)

Go ahead and wish upon a star, because:
"You got to have a dream,
If you don't have a dream,
How you gonna have a dream come true?"

(Sorry for answering so many of your questions tonight. For some reason this system won't let me ask any of my own, and I haven't even used up my quota of questions.)

I wish it worked. I've wished many a sleepless nights on stars. If you're a good person, I'm sure God will grant your wish. If your evil, then I hope not.

The star is not the important part of the wishing.

So no, who you are makes no difference.

How you are is the important part and is what makes the difference.
