Hmm you might want to do a system restore. It sounds like you got a corrupted drive.
Try going to START then RUN then type msconfig and hit enter. Go to the STARTUP tab. Then you might want to get rid of some startup programs thats conflicting with your computer that loads when your computer boots up. Try and download http://www.avast.com and do a scan on your computer to see whats wrong.
Also click on My computer and then right click on your C drive and choose the scan option and do a scan on your computer to see what errors might need fixing.
Then just reboot and see if the errors stopped.

Your comp system must be corrupted. If your OS is ME or XP, I suggest for you to try [system restore]. All data is safe, only new installed program will be deleted.

download spybot S&D 1.4 software for spyware & run it.
