Pure water is tasteless. It is other chemicals and minerals (like calcium) that give water a taste. It is this way since neither oxygen, hydrogen, or them together cause a reaction with our tastebuds.

water doesnt lack taste, it tastes like water, which is a really good taste when youre thirstry. People have drank so much other beverages, that water doesnt taste nearly as good, and people begin to think it doesnt taste good because it isnt sweet, like everything else they drink

It dosen't.All water's have taste of what is desolved in them.Some taste stronger than others.
