I dont feel we have any control who we are attracted to,as long as we don't act on it. What are your thoughts?

Yes, it is a normal thing to be attracted to people that you work with, and admire. We get into discussions, sometimes even physically rub against each other in tight quarters, so yes, we DO become attracted to co-workers. How we handle that attraction is what makes the difference. It must be handled in a professional way, especially if we're married. It's not always easy, but is always necessary.

Oh, I beg your pardon, but yes, you do have control over your feelings.

Choose...do the right thing by your spouse and enjoy this friend at work, OR leave your spouse and enjoy the friend at work and in other places, too.

It's flattering and an ego boost when someone enjoys talking and being with you. That does not mean you need to wreck a marriage for something that might just be a platonic friendship. Get a grip!

I agree with you. We have no control over attraction. And as you said, as long as you don't act on it, there isn't a problem. I see a lot of guys that I'm attracted to for various reasons, but have never made a move to carry it any further than just acquaintances.

It happens all the time. You just have to be responsible and not act on any feelings. You need to be faithful to your spouse and if you can't then you need to go. But yes it is common.

You are correct in that we don't have any control over who we are attracted to. It just happens. Giving in to it is when more trouble than you can imagine happens, which eventually leads to deep regret.

I think it is likely but it remains up to the individual to realise this is a fantasy and not to act on any feelings that they may have towards this person

No!!!!!!!! If you are attracted to someone outside of your marriage I'd say you'd better question the quality of your love, repect and honor for your partner.
