This will sound strange, but it works:
Spray the ink stain liberally with hair spray. Rub it a little bit, then wash the pants as usual. Check before tossing in the dryer to see if all the ink is out. If not, do it again.

Spray it with hairspray. Then wash it as normal. The hairspray attaches to the ink and the soap when washed removes the hairspray. I have used this many times when getting ink from stamp pads and stamps on my pants and blouses.

Household alcohol. The 70% strength that you get in the medical aisle in the store. Have a toothbrush ready and wowsers...it's gone. Don't brush too hard, you can damage the material. Try to get a baby toothbrush or Very soft in the tooth aisle.

Alcohol. Just pour it on the spot, rub gently and rinse under cool water. Hair spray works too. Good luck.
