SciFi just finished showing Season 1 of Doctor Who with Christopher Eccleston. I don't know how the ratings were but I think it probably did decently. I haven't heard anything about anyone picking up the second season though. Anyone heard anything?

Yep, Sci Fi is planning to air Doctor Who.. after the season is done in the UK... however, the Doctor will be played by David Tennant, who played Barty Crouch Jr. in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire... he is going to play the Doctor at least through season (series to some of you) 3... the second season should air in America late this year or early next year... fyi, captain jack is also getting his own show called torchwood, takes place in cardiff before the doctor and rose show up...

I have heard that he is getting replaced by someone else! You know the doctor has to rejuvenate!

They are indeed. As far as I can tell an October start date is being considered

I hope so. If they don't maybe BBC America will run it.
