a Bibliography is (1) a Publication in either printed or electronic format, usually arranged by author, date or subject, which offers a listing of works produced either by one author, in one subject, in one place, or during one period. (2) A list of works consulted in the composition of a book, article, or assignment.

A bibliography is a list of materials you used in a research project. There are specific formats to use based on what kind of material you are referencing. I have included a site in the sources section that shows how to do one, you will need Acrobat Reader from Adobe in order to view the page.

Bibliography (from Greek βιβλιογραφία, lit. book writing) in its most general sense is the study and description of books. It can be divided into enumerative or systematic bibliography, which results in an overview of publications in a particular category, and analytical or critical bibliography, which studies the production of books.
