Would you really give someone two points that thought Kings X were tools?

People just don't get it. I have seen them live 18 times and they are outstanding! Easily the best band going today. Each of them are excellent instrumentalists plus their vocal harmonies are awesome. People listen to what they are sold. If King's X was willing to pay $50,000 (like all the bands you hear everyday) then they would get radio airplay. Plus King's X actually has guitar leads in their songs. Very rare today. It all comes down to the American public eating what they are force fed. Gretchen Goes to Nebraska is one of the greatest rock albums ever, it's a shame 90% of people who consider themselves music fans have never heard it.

I was a biiig fan through their first 3 (4?) albums, and have since lost track of them.

I got to see them here in Houston 2 or 3 times, around the time of "Gretchen Goes to Nebraska" and "Faith Hope Love." *Spectacular* performances in great small venues.

I'm not listening to King's X at this very moment; but I do enjoy their music, and they also put on a great live show!

Dream Theater is another amazing Prog Rock band - but as a King's X fan, you probably already listen to them, too.

They're alright, but the vocal arrangements are a direct ripoff of the Beatles.

I don't know man, I also wonder why they've never gotten exposure to a wider audience. They are indeed one good band !
