The X-men. First of all, are you sure about what you're asking? You're asking if Superman could take don't if not everyone, well most of the X-men, which are a team. So therefore my answer has to be X-men. I think Superman is the ideal superhero, he has 2 personalities and all those cool powers, he was also one of the first superheroes to even be created, so go Superman. But now, if he would wanna go against a whole team of mutants... well it wouldn't work out too good for him. Ok here's how I think the fight is gonna go like:

First of all, you have Cyclops, the leader of The X-men, a brilliant tactician, he's very agile and he can shoot a laser from his eyes, so strong that it can destroy mountains. After that you have Storm. She is the second leader of The X-men, in case Cyclops is not around. Her power is to control the weather, and she does it pretty well, nothing can stay in her way when she starts something. After that you have Wolverine. Animalistic instincts, with razor sharp blades coming out of his hands and adamandium skeleton. Oh... he also has the healing factor on his hand, which makes him practicly impossible to beat. Then there's Beast. He's also very agile and fight just like an animal, a beast to be more precise. He's briliant when it comes to 1 on 1 combat. Next we have Iceman. He's name says it all, Iceman's mutant powers are to make ice, and manipulate it. Then we have Nightcrawler, the circus acrobat. He can hide in the shadows, and teleport himself anywhere he wants as long as he can see the place. And last but not least... Emma Frost, or also known as The White Queen. First I was worried about who's gonna win, since there's no Professor X or Jean Grey, but then I saw Emma Frost, and who has similar powers. Thanx to her, The X-men are going to be able to win a fight against Superman.

Before the fight would start, Cyclops and Storm would have everything planed out for the X-men, so that victory is in their hands. The fight would go somehting like this. First, Beast would attack, since he's the one that has the least chance of winning. Superman will probably throw beast in the ground and fly up in the air. Then Nightcrawler will teleport Wolverine on top of Superman and hoping he'll get a few scratches on, after which Superman will just hit Wolverine back on the ground. Now Storm steps in. She will make the whole place foggy, so that Superman can't see. However, he has X-ray vision so he'll use that. That's when she will send lighting and typhoons to keep Superman busy. While he's trying to fight off all the freaks of nature, The White Queen will use her telepathic abilities to take over Superman's mind. Once she does that, Superman will just come down of the air and lay on the ground. That's where the fight can be over. However, if you want to her nasty, and make Marvel look superior to DC, then you can use Iceman and Cyclops. First Iceman will freaze Superman's brain as long with his whole body and every leving cell in it. Once Superman is frozen, all Cyclops has to do is to use his Optic Blast and blow Superman to smiderines, and Game Over...

Winner: The X-men

Superman because unfortunatley in the X-men;s Marvel Universe krptonyte doesn't exist there for making Superman invinceable. Plus Wolverine is almost invinceable and perhaps Prof. X could destroy him with a mind blast or Jean Grey as Pheionix? Just a thought...

Superman would win - unless the comic was written by Chris Claremont, in which case Phoenix would once again come back from the dead and destroy the universe blah, blah, blah.
(gee Chris, where do you get your great ideas!)

Superman of course there is no krytonite ...hes unstoppable the best the xmen can do is slow him down. there is like maybe 2 or three xmen that could have a chance..Colossus, Storm and Cyclopes could jus slow him down. But they would need the Juggeranut to help them.

X-MEN even though they couldn't overpower or kill him. Prof X, or Grey could do it but they aren't there in that x men version. But there is always Emma Frost who could just convince him hes a homosexual carrot that lives on mars and he would be there for the rest of eternity. Its kind of cheap but ou cant beat a physic theyre just too good.
