Seriously. I mean, questions like, 'who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?' 'There's a monster under my bed, what do I do?' Come on, guys. Can't you think of anything better?

What constitutes a weirdo? Is that someone whos actions do not conform to your conceived expectations? Addressing the issue of questions with little obvious purpose, we need to peel back the layers of the personality to achieve convergence in qualitative comparison.

First, there is the freedom from conventional communication engendered by pseudonym. A person may ask anything and have no emotional repercussions. This alone points to a defensive psyche, and possible unresolved bitterness in past social contexts. Then the need of the individual to have control, to express that control, could be overpowering the rational, inquisitive characteristic one would expect of a questioner. So the question is simply a vehicle for safe communication.

What is stupid for you, might not be stupid for me.

Didn't you think that maybe they don't really want an answer as such? Maybe they just want to see the reaction people have.
Maybe they want different points of view.
Just imagine, it's a father asking:'There's a monster under my bed, what do I do?', because his son keeps asking the same question and the answer he gives his kid is not working. Maybe he wants to know what do you tell your kid, or what would you tell him, and see if that stops his son seeing monsters under his bed.I don't see that so stupid.
Some people take this Yahoo! very seriously, others don't. They are here just for the laugh.

Probably because they didn't want to ask a question like "How come so many wierdos ask stupid questions?". By the way, you spelled "weirdos" incorrectly. :) Have a nice day.

Idk... I guess they want to see what some people will replie too. I mean they can do that because that's their question... and how do you know that those questions aren't legit?
+ This question really doesn't have a point. Think before you ask a question too before you criticize what others ask.
