Well, there is a GOOD version of Bearshare that doesn't have any popups. If you liked BearShare at one time and would like it without the popups, go to www.bearshare.com/lite

I think you should try emule, its very good, I had a great experience downloading music with emule, because allow you to download entire albums and also you have a lot options. In general I think that emule its the best. You can go emule.com or go to google and look for emule...
