As the other answerer said: 65$ is not enough to buy bonds directly.
However there are mutual funds specialized in bonds, that might sell for less than 65$ per part.

no one would sell $65 worth of bonds to you. its at least $1000. and so, you can't invest $65 in bonds. maybe you could invest in a carton of candy bars.

If you're a US resident, you can buy US Savings Bonds for as little as $25. You can buy them online at www.treasurydirect.gov or from most banks. With that amount of money to invest, you don't have many other options.
