This has happened to me. First, do not leave any feedback yet. Contact the buyer (usually via email) and explain that you are not happy with the quality of the item and that you would like to fix up your concerns by mutual agreement and see what they say. They may offer to refund your money or send you something extra to keep you happy or they may do nothing. If they do nothing, report them to ebay and leave negative feedback saying exactly what was wrong like "bad copy - not designer as lead to believe" so other people can see. Most sellers depend on positive feedback so this is very important to them. Give it a go but you may have to chalk this first purchase up as a learning experience.

Don't be turned off ebay as there are also a lot of good sellers out there. Just try to reduce the risk. I tend to stick to Australian sellers and read the feedback comments carefully. If you look in the feedback section for a seller, you can click on the item that was sold and hopefully, someone else has bought something similar and you can read their comments. Try to "read between the lines", eg if no-one says they are very happy with their items but may say the postage was fast, I would be careful about dealing with them. I also like to deal with people that haven't sold thousands of items as they tend to be jaded and are only there to make as much money as possible - I think after a while, their integrity leaves them.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Yeah. I were given a sparkling Canon Powershot S5IS digital digicam (Approximate Retail fee: $500) for $three hundred with delivery and dealing with. and that i have been given a sparkling Nintendo DS (at the same time as they first got here out and were promoting for $2 hundred+) for $one hundred fifty.

You should send an e-mail to ebay asking them to talk to those people who sent you those"foney" Emily t-shirts.

P.S. Don't buy anymore clothes off e-bay!(Most other stuff is OK though.)
