I have never participated in the event but I did live there for several summers. I don't think you need reservations for motorcycles because it is sort of "how many can we fit on the boat" type of deal. I do know that there is a LARGE amount of bikes that are there for the event.

Be prepared to wait pretty much all day to get your bike and to and from the island during that time since the reservations don't exactly exist. They may make other arrangements so check out the website below.
