IF REFEREES DON'T INTERFERE -- Argentina or Portugal or Spain or, not surprisingly, Brazil.
Any such match in the finals would be fantastic... PORTUGAL -v- ARGENTINA what a match ! PORTUGAL -v- BRAZIL,wow... PORTUGAL WINNING THE WORLD CUP... even more 'wow'... all wishful thinking... Reality ? Brazil and Argentina in final. and for 2nd and 3rd place, PORTUGAL -v- REFEREES !

IF REFEREES DO THEIR THING AGAIN AS THEY DID IN VARIOUS MAJOR TOURNAMENTS --then Holland, France or South Korea... these all have a very good chance with referees.
That aside... I am keeping an eye on the African countries... I love their passion and skill... and I get a kick out of an African country beating the hell out of an established, bigger country --- as long as I am not from that bigger country, LOL !

ARGENTINA, no doubt. They really play as a team, without selfishness. They have amazingly skillful players, even on the bench. The members of the team are very close. Pekerman is an excellent coach. And most importantly, they are ready to leave their heart on the field.

Spain definitely looked great in their first match. They're my dark horse favourite. But I look towards Germany to win.
