It's not. I'm a bleeding heart liberal, president of my county young democrats, elected democrat precinct leader of my neighborhood and frequent attender of state democratic conventions.

If you know your history, you would know that the worst President was James Buchanan. He may not have started some war in a place that most Americans can't find on a map, or stole a bunch of money from the people to give to his friends... but he did stand by and let the civil war happen. It may have been 150 years ago, but it is still the single greatest danger to our country. Which is hard to understand in our very contemporary times.

So, Is George W. Bush terrible? Of course. Should we do things to stop his crazy plans and horrible ideas? Are the things he's doing wrong and disgusting? yes! But, is the worst President, and administration we've had? Certainly, the answer is no.

I don't think GW's administration is the worst, I think his ranks 11th place.

The worst administrations in the world are: (1) Omar al-Bashir, Sudan; (2) Kim Jong-il, North Korea; (3) Than Shwe, Burma (Myanmar); (4) Robert Mugabe, Zimbabwe; (5) Islam Karimov, Uzbekistan (6) Hu Jintao, China; (7) King Abdullah, Saudi Arabia; (8) Saparmurat Niyazov, Turkmenistan; (9) Seyed Ali Khamane’i, Iran; (10) Teodoro Obiang Nguema, Equatorial Guinea; (11) George Bush, USA.

There are so many reasons, it's hard to get started. First, he got us into a war so we could steal another country's oil. Now our gas prices are ridiculous, and it's costing our country 8 billion dollars a month to stay in this war. This is the first time in American history where we have been the agressor nation (meaning we started it). Second, he's a moron. It appears that his daddy bought his education just like he bought him the presidency. He doesn't even have good grammar, and is an embarrassment when he speaks in public. I've heard from people from other countries and they want to know if he really is that stupid --- YES. Third, and very important, we (the people) didn't elect him. He didn't carry the popular vote - he was elected by the electoral college, which takes the power away from the people.

Is it the worst? I can't really say. JimHolm is write in saying that Buchanan was pretty damned bad. McKinley was no prize, for that matter.

Of course, the current administration has definitely set a few records. I try to shy away from commentary. Here's a few facts, instead. Take a look, and draw your own conclusions.

Think about it: With the incomes of the rich skyrocketing and the incomes of the working class and the poor plummeting, it won't be long before the middle class in the US disappears. The middle class built this country, and carries it and keeps it afloat. Ask yourself: Where does the middle class come from? It comes from the poor and the working class working hard, getting educated, starting businesses and supporting organizations (trade unions, etc.) that help us all. The rich, for the most part, are parasites on the rest of us who carry their tax burden and let them get away with a free ride. The only rich people who are any good are those who use their vast wealth for charitable purposes and who use it to create more possibilities for the enrichment of those who cannot yet buy it for themselves.

People feel strongly that he is good or bad because he has made decisions. You may not agree with them, but he has made choices.

Most or at least a lot of the people that bash Bush, believe that Clinton did an incredible job. What hard choices did Clinton make? Al Quada attacked us a few times before and Clinton chose not to take action, Bush took extreme action.

Honestly, it doesn't matter what our opinion is now, because we are still feeling the effects of Reagan's Presidency. Only after a few decades to see how the world reshapes itself can we say that Bush was good or bad.

I must apologize, I am not a liberal. However, reading the responses I think that it's pretty interesting that when given permission (or asked) to really rant, they don't.

By the way, I think the Bush Administration is one of the best ever!!!

He lost the popular vote, but won the electoral college. His administration does not reflect the will of the majority, and he's not interested in finding out what that might be anyway.
