Why is baseball the most hated sport?

Everywhere I go, I hear someone talking about how slow and boring baseball is. They always hate on baseball, never soccer, never hockey, never bowling, three sports which lack the suspense and grace of baseball. These are on TV just as much these days, and yet nobody insults them. Baseball is always the worst sport in the world to people. Why is it baseball and not another sport. I personally don't like soccer and hockey because people make such a big deal out of something like stealing the ball where they probably won't score. But in baseball, when the guy gets to third, he's obviously close to scoring.

Going to a baseball game, is like watching plants grow. It's slow. But also depends what city your in. I'm from St. Louis so Cardinals/Cubs series, of course it'll be fun. But hockey is fast-paced action. The noise, the atmosphere is incredible. Baseball, outfielders stand there unless a pop fly, or need there cup adjusted. Soccer is hell of alot more endurance of a sport than baseball by far. I like baseball don't get me wrong. When I went to a game this year at the new Busch Stadium, people weren't even watching the game, they are sitting there talking to each other most of the game. They could have done that at home. Hockey games, I'm always on my feet.

Baseball is broken. Until they do a salary cap like in football or hockey, then the team with the deepest pockets will always have the advatage of paying for better players, and the small market teams will lose those players for the bigger paycheck and a chance to win. If you worked at company that made radios, and another company tells you they will pay you a higher wage to do the same thing would you?

It isnt, Soccer is the worst sport. Its much more boring than baseball. I dont think i can go 90 minutes and see 1 or 2 goals and get excited. Its just stupid. Baseball is much more exciting, with Home Runs, big hits, clutch hits, great pitching, its a good sport.

I really think this is the BEST sport ever. Soccer is just plane boring!! It makes golf look good!! Now hockey its just plane stupid!! I think baseball is the BEST because it involves thinking you know! I'm not going to start with Football. What is the deal with ppl tackling ppl down!! GOD!! I think its the best because its something far more better. Enough has been said!

I think the people who hate it are the ones that just go to a game every now and then.The people who love it are the ones that know the history and strategy of the game.Also those now and then fans don't have a team that they follow and love so it isn't as interesting to them because they just go and see some team win, not really caring about the outcome of the game.

it's not... some people don't appreciate it because it's slower paced than several of the other "glamour" games like football and basketball, but what those people don't realize is that baseball is far and away the most interesting game to watch if you understand the intricacies of it... There is more strategy in one baseball game than there is in a season of football, and don't even get me started on basketball -- talk about a game completely lacking in strategy...

There is nothing borning about a great American sport of Base Ball. The think the wages the players get is outragous. It is not hard to believe that they have and will pass the buck to people.

Who says it's boring. I say anyone who lacks interest, lacks knowledge. They clearly don't relate to the game because they don't understand it. A common affliction among most people these days. Such a shame.
