I have been date raped three times.
If this isn't a hate crime against women I don't know what a hate crime is. It shows a level of rage against all women that is just as bad as any hate crime of racial or sexual orientation.

Rape is not about sex. It is about hate. For women.

Does hate crime have to do with race? That seems to be what it is centered around. I was a victim of a hate crime when I was young. I was "the it girl" for all of the boys in our neighborhood. Which was funny because I was so shy and innocent they didn't get anything out of me. I think that was the conquest for them to get. This made both the girls and boys upset and all ended up joining as a group and hated me. There were a lot of threats and fear factors. Standing on the corners waiting to beat me up as I walked home. I don't know if this is really a hate crime, but I am an adult now and I still haven't gotten over it. Being poor didn't help either. However, I find myself being on the other end of hating. I have never committed a crime but I was tourmented by a certain race when I was young, so now I have very strong and open feelings of hate towards this race because of the few I grew up with.

Yes, both, on a number of occasions I have been attacked physically or verbally due to race, religion, or what someone perceived as my sexual orientation or national origin.

you are a victim only if you think of your self like that----even in the most adverse moments never give them the joy of seen you cry--that will swollen their ego... remember this... the more educated you are the less vulnerable you are---the more you know about yourself ( culture-history) the more proud you will be of who you are---
