Theoretically, an adult royal python could kill if it were allowed to constrict the throat. Practically, I'm sure it would never happen. First of all, you would need to sit there and allow it to happen. Royals, although very strong, are not large as pythons go. They don't have the kind of power that a burmese or reticulated python does. I never felt the kind of strength in my snake that would make me question whether I could remove it if if became aggressive with me. It might be a tricky job, but it could be done. Also, royal pythons tend to be very docile snakes in captivity. If they feel threatened, they will coil up in a ball and stay that way until the threat passes. So it's very unlikely that one would become aggressive enough to constrict a person that it knows.

You are probably asking if they can kill a human....No.I don't think even a huge female would have enough strength to kill a baby unless the baby was unattended for a really long time.As far as prey goes....yes anything up to a small dog or cat.
Although it is accepted that reptiles are not domesticated...any animal that has 10 generations in captivity is considered domesticated. That is not to say they are tame? Some species will most likely never become tame.

First off like someone else mentioned A snake can never be totally domesticated. They might learn that you are not a threat and let you handle them. They are always wild animals though. They don't see you as a friend and can strike at any time.
An adult ball python technically could kill a grown man if he constricted the throat. But you would have to sit there and let him do it. They are strong but not strong enough for a man to take him off. A child who wasn't strong enough to pull him off would have a bigger problem.

Sure, they kill all the time... rats, mice, etc.

Can they kill a human? Only if you choke on one if you tried to swallow it, or maybe if you tripped over one and fell down a flight of stairs. That's about the only way a Ball Python could kill a human.

definately small prey but seriously doubt any humanbeing. reticulates and large burmese could easily kill kids or inexperienced adults. ball will never get big enough to pose a serious threat to you.

Yup but you can remove it's teeth for some amount of money but it's good to put a rat in it's cage so it can know how to hunt once it gets lost or something.
