Here is how you tell.
If you see their name, and you try to talk to them, and they don't answer. CONSIDER YOURSELF BLOCKED.
It works the same way if you open the back door of your house and try talking to the wind. The wind simply doesn't answer.
With another 6 million people on the planet, you simply do not need to talk to someone that isn't interested.

Maybe you won't see their ID in friends' list...or if you still do see it, I guess you won't be able to send IM...ok?

If they are on your list and you see them sign on, try to send them a message. If you can't send a message, you have been blocked.

You cant really tell if they have you blocked but you can tell if they have you on your list or not.
Go to tools then options then privacy and click on view to see who has you on their list.

Type their id in the box and it will tell you if they are online, if it says they are online but yet they dont show online on your list that means you are blocked :)
