I hear air coming from the regulator area but I am unsure about whether it is the regulator or the gauges or.... Sears, of course, doesn't provide any help. They just want you to buy all new parts on trial and error. There is not a parts department within 120 miles of my home. Dewalt offers a regulator repair kit. Sears does not. Does anybody know who builds the air compressors for Craftsman. Maybe I can get a repair kit from them. Help!!!

Mix some liquid soap with some water and while air compressor is running pour water on connections and any where there could be a possible leak. You'll see air bubbles where ever the leak is with the soapy water mixture. Then repair what ever is leaking.

A solution of soap water and air it up at the leaks it will bubble. If it is a joint leaking release the pressure and apply Teflon tape or joint compound.

Maybe your car mechanic can put some kind of dye in it, like they check for leaks in an auto air
conditioner. If you see the dye, you'll know where the leak is coming from.

Take it back. Sears will replace it. Thats Craftsman policy

I would suggest using soapy water to pinpoint your leak

pour warter where you think leak is,,,it will bubble
