...what's up with everyone wearing white shirts in the crowd? I don't watch NBA basketball so I was just wondering what that was all about.

They have promoted to wear white shirts during Heat games in the playoffs and in this game. I think it's called "White Heat."

It's called "White Heat". And It's because their the home team. The home teams in basketball wear white. Also, I'm sure half of the have on team jerseys and they can be white as well. Go Mavs!

white is usually the teams home jersey color so everyone in the crowd should be wearing white unless they are routing for the other team or they just decided to wear white and didn't get changed before they went to the game.

I don't really watch sports either but when you go to games sometimes they ask you to wear a certain color for your team, so the Miami fans were white, because that is there uniform.

two reasons I believe its white hot (not white heat).... and because the home jerserys are white.
