Lots (if not all) of the yahoo email users are getting this. It isn't any thing for you to worry about. akamai is an ebusiness marketing company working with yahoo. There digital certificate is showing up as expired. If you look at the details it shouldn't expire until 2007. Strange.

it sounds like the trust chain for the CA is broken. Verify the certificate is valid by checking its common name versus what it's trying for (DNS name). Verify that the certificate is valid for the date and time (some enterprising Yahoo geek might have installed a cert before it was active), and scan your machine for malware that could create a spoof attack.

Also, check to make sure the CA (Certification Authority) that issued the certificate is one you trust. You might want to update your certificate stores from MS.
