Urinary tract infection. Signs/symptoms can include some or all of the following: burning with urination, foul smelling urine, feeling need to pee but only able to go a few drops which can be followed with cramping, some light bleeding when you wipe. There usually isn't itching associated with a UTI. You might have a yeast infection, but until you know the s/s of either problem you really need to go to the doctor for a proper diagnosis to make sure you are treating yourself correctly. If it is a UTI you would need antibiotics, yeast you can use topical creams or get a prescription for a pill that you only have to take one of to get rid of the yeast infection. (diflucan)

Urinary Tract Infection. A UTI does not typically come with discharge. However, I'm not saying it's impossible. A UTI comes on quick. It is a bacteria infection in your urethra that only gets more infected every time you pee. It burns and feels like you always have to go to the bathroom. When you do go to the bathroom, it feels like you can't hold it anylonger and then only a trickle comes out. But that trick is the most painful pee ever. It feels like peeing razor blades. You can buy an over the counter pain reliever called Uri-Stat. But the only cure for a UTI is an antibiotic.

UTIs can be caused by not wiping completely after using the restroom, wiping back-to-front, or not peeing after intercourse. They are very uncomfortable and usually require some sort of attention after just a few hours of the initial symptoms. They do not go away on their own and trust me, you won't want to wait it out even if you could.

A urinay tract infection has various signs, a burning sensation when urinating, the need to urinate frequently and in small amounts. You can do a urine test to rule this out by simple getting an over the counter test from the pharmacy where you can test your urine and it will come positive or negative just as a pregnancy test. The cure is usually by getting antibiotics prescribed by your doctor.
However, you should see your doctor, the itching and discharge sounds more as a yeast infection (candidosis) or some other vaginal infection.

A white/clear/yellow-ish discharge without itching is perfectly normal. If it's itchy, it might be a yeast infection (usually you know, because it's REALLY itchy). If you've never had one, you should see your doc to diagnose. Once you know what it is, it can be treated with OTC medications. If it's mild, you might also try eating some plain yogurt with active cultures.

A UTI affects your urinary tract, as opposed to your vagina. A urinary infection it usually feels like you have to pee all the time, even if you just went, and you really don't have to go. It may also hurt to urinate.

UTI is urinary tract infection...frequent urination that burns like fire, low back ache...does not sound like you have a UTI, sounds more like a vaginal infection. You need to see a doctor to have it diagnosed and treated and don't wait as some infections can cause infertility and lots of other problems.

Urinary tract infection. The main symptom is burning when you urinate, frequency and difficulty starting the flow of urine. You may have a bladder infection, but Nursing books are organized by diagnoses, not symptoms, so you need a doctor to determine what is wrong.
