They won't. The insurgents are patriots, they love their country almost as much as King George loves it.
They're willing to kill and die for it. They will stop at nothing until our precense is gone.
Which we will NEVER LEAVE.
Bush has no intention of EVER leaving Iraq. He's building the world's largest Embasy in Iraq, it's going to be bigger than the entire Vatican City!!!
Bush has no intention of ever leaving Iraq, not as long as he's still lining the pockets of his buddies with the spoils of war!
Not as long as he alone controls the money, the oil, the imports...
WE'RE NEVER LEAVING IRAQ...get used to it!

The iraqi troops are not going to stop anything when u s forces pull out. I would think that many will be killed for joining against the insurgents and will turn there put down there weapons and become insurgents themselves. Them stop the insurgency hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaa

Recently captured documents from the not-so-safe house that was bombed resulting in the death of Al Quada's Iraqi leader showed that the insurgents are LOOSING! The documents do exist, they have been reported on. The insurgents are loosing.
The insurgents have been fighting to PREVENT democracy from taking hold in Iraq. But inspite of their efforts, the Iraqi people are beginning to like being able to live free of Saddam Hussain and his Nazi stormtroopers. Yes, I said Nazi. Saddam's role model for totalitarian dictatorship was Adolf Hitler.
So YOUR question has no basis in reality. The Iraqi people are stopping the insurgancy and the insurgents will go HOME to their native countries once they realize they could get killed. Yes, I said GO HOME to their NATIVE Countries. Most of the isurgents are NOT IRAQI!
Study the news before asking questions based on faulty sources and faulty reasoning.
And to all you who have ranted on before and after me.....READ the newspapers and listen to conservative talk radio and give yourselves a fair and balanced view of the situation. Don't just parrot your government schools' teachers points of view. They just might be wrong!

You assume that (1) the insurgents aren't being stopped (if only gradually), and that (2) the Iraqi troops will not be as accomplished as the "super power" (mostly Americans) troops. You are probably wrong in one or both of your assumptions.

Your question doesn't make sense. Insurgents are people fighting against occupiers, such as the Super Powers you mentioned. Once the occupiers leave, there will no longer be an insurgency. There may be an occasional rebellion, but no insurgency.

I guess you haven't been keeping up with the war. Their leader is DEAD. The Iraqi government is finally taking over. We are helping them to take out a bunch more insurgents with the information gained from Zarqawi's "safe" house. We get more info from everyone we take out now. It's just a matter of time till they run out of guys. Have you noticed they have no more RPGs or SAMs? I don't like the pres but our American soldiers are doing the job. HOORAH!!!

It is all about huff and puff, if you think that the Iraqi troupes are the only one doing this mission I have a snowball I will sell you in Baghdad. Why would you believe a guy that lied to get us into war there in the first place. Of course the left wing media will cover what Iraqi's are involved but that is a favor to the president. Who coincidental sucks.

you know insurgents aren't the only ones causing trouble right?
the Shi'ite islamics and the Sunni Islamics are running around killing each other, so they are a problem too. Plus iraqis don't stand out like americans do.

Maybe they won't want to. Maybe they'll just give up and let other Muslims, or fellow Iraqis, take over and do whatever. I agree with you that it is going to get ugly, especially for whichever Iraqi people don't win.
