i want to rent a funny or scary movie, but i dont want to get a dumb one does anyone have any suggestions about any great movies? ( is " when a stranger calls") a good movie?

I loved "The Family Stone" which is pretty funny. I also liked "Dark Water" which is scary. The best, in my opinion, doesn't fall under either category. I would rent (and I do own) "National Treasure".

Just watched Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. If your a fan of comedy and film noir, you can't go wrong
