How to stay motivated & happy working from home?

I work in the IT industry and my company might be relocating. The few days Ive worked from home before, Ive really struggled with motivation. I live in a small studio so I cant have a dedicated room for work. How can I stay motivated?

Be sure to get out and get sunlight, plenty of it.
if you can, a lap-top helps out tremendously, because your work place can be the car, the park, the beach, whatever, and at night, you can relax on your couch, or on a futon, and type away.
Most of your motivation will be from being in a happy place, and seeing the results of your labors. If you must stay indoors, then buy a divider, the tri-fold sort, to break up your space from one room into two spaces.I jut bought a shop sink at a place called Re-Store, which sells products taken from abandoned homes, sell-outs, home sales, home destruction for rebuilding, etc. and there was a folding partision that was only $13, and it was beautiful. I didn't need it, so I didn't buy it, but look to see if there is any place like this around you. We actually have two places, and both are not-for-profit stores that give back to the community through sales, as well as the knowledge of working in the construction field to obtain a better way of life for the poor and minority.
OK, I m blabbing on and on, but you may also want to surround yourself with your favorite smells for insense or candles, or the windows wide open for fresh air, but perhaps taking a brisk walk out in the open air will awaken your senses and motivate you before you start your work.
take breaks and re-charge whenever you feel the need. That's a benefit of working from the homefront

You sound like you're one of those people that have to GO to work. I'm one of those, if I work at home I'm hopeless. What you need is a small office somewhere so that you can leave home and go to work. Believe me it will work wonders and you have the added benefit of coming home again after work. Jules, lecturer.
