Careful, I wouldn't tug on that thread too hard.
Because it might turn out that your life is not really your life, but merely some bizarre reality show that people on another planet are watching (think "Truman Show")
And if you start asking too many questions, they might "boot you off the island"
Sorry, I just tivoed way too much Lost, and the paranoia is starting to get to me.

Probably so. I generally try to avoid series shows because then I have to either record them (to make sure I don't miss a show) or try to make sure I remember to watch them. I avoided "24", but somehow I got caught up in the "Lost" hooplah. It's a pain waiting for the new season, though... and then I find myself going back and rewatching the season finale for clues I might've missed the first (second, third, etc, etc, etc) time around. Wouldn't surprise me if it were an experiment on us, though. And don't even get me started on the various forums for discussion about the show. I had successfully avoided them until Lost and there I was digging around for info and even spoilers... sheesh!

Probably is. I wouldn't be surprised at all, as they seem to be making it up as they go along. It's strangely addicting, though.
Just when the show seemed to be dragging on and on without revealing much of anything, it suddenly became really interesting again. When I first discovered this YA thing about six or seven months ago, I actually made comparisons in my postings to the resetting of that machine with the addictiveness of this site!

Hmm...that's really an interesting theory. I guess before I answer I would like to know more about why you pose such an idea.
