I believe we start on the path of this injury as children. Home video games such as the ones in your livingrooms are the beginning of this problem. Continued play for extended periods of time can cause problems.

You can get carpul tunnel at any age if you are doing repetative motions with your hands- vidio games, typing, etc. Stretching and taking breaks from these activities will help.

As the others said, it is not necessarily age oriented. It is more to do with over use of the wrists and also some predisposition towards the problem. My son has played video games for 20 years and has no problems. I have used computers extensively and only had problems when I did not use good ergonomics.

Any Age if you do a lot of game playing or computer work.

There isn't a set age that you start to see it because it is a self inflicted degenerative disease.

Carpal tunnel is one of those things that doesn't discriminate. It can affect you at any age.

I don't think that there's a particular age for that, if you work with your hands alot, oh yeah it may be coming.
